UX(User Experience) is becoming more and more important. Before looking into why it is important, we have to tell what the difference between UI and UX is. UI(User Interface) is the space where interactions between humans and machines occur, while UX(User Experience) refers to a person's emotions and attitudes about using a particular product, system or service. It includes the practical, experiential, affective, meaningful and valuable aspects of human–computer interaction and product ownership. Additionally, it includes a person’s perceptions of system aspects such as utility, ease of use and efficiency.

To help you understand easily, I brought an interesting picture above. UI and UX comparison is clearly explained here. The original ketchup bottle is UI (user interface), which is just normal glass bottle, iconic, not bad.
And then we got a evolved version in the middle, upside-down bottle, obvious a better user experience that the ketchup won't be stuck in the bottle. This bottle with new UI gives us a better UX(user experience).
